The youngest of four brass playing brothers, Jack began his musical career
at 7 years old under the guidence of his father Joe Burch, a Salvation
Army Bandmaster.
Jacks' long distinguished career includes playing Trombone professionally
with the Ulster and BBC Orchestras and associations with the top brass
bands and players.
At 18, he started conducting, encouraged by his father, brothers and Alexander
Hollick, Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall. He is currently Bandmaster
with the Belfast Temple Salvation Army Band, a position he has occupied since
1989. |
