Templemore have been in existence for over 60 years, thanks to the talent and commitment of its members through the decades, some who have gone on to make music their career. and some founder members who still play with the band.

Brass Bands, both in Great Britain and in Northern Ireland have, over recent years, suffered from a lack of budding young players, but thankfully, this situation is now slowly changing, and Templemore, like many other bands, is pleased to welcome its young players into the ranks.

It is incumbent upon all experienced brass players, and also in the various Schools of Music Brass Departments, to nurture and encourage the musical talent in our children, so they too may benefit from the enjoyment of playing great brass music as they mature through the years.
